KRONOFLOW · GUIDE
What to do when your plan falls apart by 10 a.m.
Updated · September 20, 2026
The morning ran long, something urgent arrived, or you simply did not start. The plan on the screen is now wrong, and a wrong plan is easy to stop looking at. Here is a way to repair it in about three minutes.

Keep the shape, change the sizes
Do not start a new plan. Look at the blocks that are left and shorten them to fit the hours you actually have. A focus block that was two hours can be forty minutes and still count.

Move, do not delete
Tasks that no longer fit go to a later block or to tomorrow. Moving keeps them visible and stops the quiet worry about what you have forgotten.

Drop one thing on purpose
Pick one item and consciously let it go for today. Choosing what not to do is easier than failing at everything a little.
Pick the lighter option
If a block had options (walk, stretch, short workout), take the one that fits your energy now. The block still happens, which is what keeps a routine alive.
Name the next step only
You do not need the whole afternoon to be right. You need the next block to be clear. Once it is, stop replanning and start.
Doing this in Kronoflow
Kronoflow is built around these moves: drag a block’s edge to shorten it, drag a task into another block, use Replan to push several tasks later at once, and keep options inside a block. Past days keep what they had, so repairing today never rewrites your history. Read Time blocking when your day keeps slipping for the longer version.
